3 Keys to Unlock Effective Management in 2026

The management gurus who focus on management skills say that nearly 80% of the problems in organizations are the fault of the manager. Being effective as a manager is critical. Executive Advantage would like to share the following three issues with you today to make sure you’re working effectively as a manager in leading your employees:

  • The first is listening. Be a good listener by maintaining good eye contact and avoid interrupting. Try and leave your distractions in your pockets!
  • The second is asking questions. Draw people out, get their honest opinions. Ask questions to so you’re fully able to understand and articulate the concepts being presented in the conversation.
  • The third one is encouraging. Yes, encouraging people to be effective and to use all of their talents along the way. Be patient and offer support as needed! Celebrate the small wins and when someone fails, help to set realistic expectations for the next opportunities.

Three Simple Power Steps!

That’s it! Listening, asking questions, and encouraging are your keys to effectively managing your organization in 2026. Now a good time for all of us to sharpen our management skills. Three simple things, that’s all it can take. Work on these consciously at your own pace every day and every moment.

Executive Advantage would love to come alongside you as a mentor. If you’d like to learn more, contact us today.
