What should you do about Workplace Harassment?

Workplace harassment is in the news, but we (at Executive Advantage) were talking about it way before it became a media explosion.  Now, the whole world, it seems, is talking about it at office parties and dinner parties, but at what point are we willing to consider talking to a qualified HR professional about our company’s risk for workplace harassment?

Yes I need WPH by Executive Advantage!

Hmm, not certain it’s worth the time for a conversation?

Think about this for a second:

How would your company’s name look in headlines?

A recent headline on KOMU.com reads: “Jury decides harassment at work and at school contributed to a Missouri teen’s suicide.” The manager of the Dairy Queen was initially charged with second degree manslaughter as a result of her actions; after a year, the charges were downgraded to harassment and bullying . The school district is still trying to defend itself.

For those who are thinking these things only happen in larger cities; this is a Dairy Queen and a school district in a mid-Missouri community, population 1,105

We’re not just talking about larger organizations located in Kansas City or St. Louis.

Isn’t it time to have a conversation about workplace harassment and ensuring a safe environment for everyone? Whether you’re an employee or an employer, it’s crucial to address concerns and take proactive steps in documenting harassment incidents. Protect your dream by being aware and proactive.

Call us at 573 554-2270 or schedule a 15 min conversation!

If you landed on this page and don’t know who we are, you may be wondering who we are and what some of our credentials are.  We understand; we’re “face-to-facers” as well.   Take five minutes, grab a cup of coffee, and meet Bob and Doris.

Really, it might make sense to meet!
