As everyone scrambles for work in this tough Covid-struck economy, you may find yourself wondering if you’re doing all the right things to get noticed in the hiring process.

It’s time to go back to basics.

While finding work is difficult for everyone right now, there are simple things you can do to stand out against other applicants. On the same note, once you find employment, simple actions go a long way in keeping your position.

If you’re an employer, you know it can be difficult to find applicants who are the right fit. Sometimes it’s hard to get a phone call back. What are the things applicants do that move them along the hiring process? How fast do you expect applicants to respond to your emails? Phone calls? Once you hire someone, what distinguishes a great employee from a mediocre one?
