In our opinion, Benefit Packages should be linked to Quality of Work Life. They don’t always have an added cost to them.
When building benefit packages, it’s important to take in consideration:
- the value the employee will give to the benefit;
- what employment laws govern that benefit, i.e. FLSA, ERISA, among others;
- your ability as a company to manage the record keeping obligations attached to benefits.
